The Orlando Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence is committed to making this website accessible and usable for as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology, keyboard navigation, screen readers, magnification, captions, or other tools.

Accessibility is not a one-time blessing. It is ongoing care, maintenance, listening, and repair.

Our Standard

We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA where practical for our public website. This includes attention to semantic structure, keyboard access, focus states, color contrast, text alternatives, responsive layouts, readable content, and forms that can be understood by assistive technology.

What We Are Working On

We regularly review the site as content, images, events, forms, and third-party tools change. Some content may depend on outside platforms, embedded services, social media, PDFs, or legacy materials that we do not fully control.

When we discover a barrier, we will make a good-faith effort to fix it or provide the information in another accessible format. No one should need a secret ritual or perfect browser setup to find community resources.

Known Limitations

Possible limitations may include:

  • Third-party donation, ticketing, map, form, or social media services.
  • PDFs, scans, certificates, or older documents that may need remediation.
  • Images or media provided by outside sources that may need improved descriptions.
  • Temporary issues introduced during content updates or platform changes.

We welcome reports. Accessibility feedback is not a nuisance; it is community care with useful receipts.
